Who dictates fashion? The street or the catwalk?
Fashion is often thought of as a reflection of our culture and society. But who really dictates what's fashionable? Is it the catwalk, with its high-end designers and often unattainable trends, or is it the street, with its more accessible and often more creative style? The answer is a bit of both. The catwalk may be responsible for setting trends, but it's the street that often takes those trends and makes them its own. Street style is often a more accessible, individualized version of fashion, which makes it more attractive to many people. It's also more diverse, which allows people to express themselves in a way that is most meaningful to them. So while the catwalk may dictate the trends, it's the street that truly dictates fashion.
